Group Fitness

Do You prefer to train with Your friends? Is exercise more manageable if You see it as a social thing? Then the group sessions are for You!

Group PT sessions can be private (i.e. You and Your friends only) or public (You, Your friends, and other strangers who will no doubt become friends!) and can be conducted out of the studio, in a local park or at Your home. Formal group fitness classes are conducted out of the studio.

Gym Buddies PT Sessions

Would You like a personal training session but prefer to work out with a partner or a few friends? Then try a group PT session. It’s not quite a class, not quite a one-on-one, but something entirely unique. Sessions can be up to a maximum of three people and discounts are offered depending on the number of people in Your group.

Sessions can be in the studio or in local parks around the city. To book in a session, click on the Book Now button above and choose a slot that suits You.

Gymstick™ Group Fitness Classes 

Gymstick™ Group Training  sessions are a non-weight bearing form of resistance training that is perfect for anyone who wants to get toned up, lose weight, rehabilitate after an injury, increase balance and flexibility, increase muscular endurance and strength and improve cardiovascular fitness – they’re also the best thing around for strengthening up the midsection! The classes are fun, all-over body workouts and can be quite intense if You want them to be – but You set the resistance Yourself, to suit Your fitness level. Classes cater to all levels and all age groups, are 40-45 minutes long, with full body stretches and cool down.

♥ Gymsticks™ are available for purchase at a discounted rate from me, and with Your own each class price will be lessened for You.

If You cannot make the class time but would still like to give Gymstick™ classes a go, contact me about bringing a class to Your workplace at a negotiated time each week – let the recreation time come to You!

BodyFlex Classes (currently not running)

These classes are for strengthening, toning and building muscle, for improving Your balance and flexibility, and for general fitness and weight loss. Exercises are varied and include interval training for cardiovascular fitness and endurance, Capoeira-inspired conditioning techniques for improving strength, balance and hand-to-eye coordination, and stretches to increase flexibility, reduce strains and injury and to release tension and the build up of toxins in the muscles. Each class finishes with relaxation time to help manage stress and assist in recovery.

 The best thing about group fitness is that You almost forget it’s exercise at all because You’re having so much fun! But truthfully, fitness and exercise SHOULD be fun – otherwise, why would we do it at all? The body is made to move so come on – let’s get moving!

Please note: If You want to add in a one-on-one Personal Training session to address Your specific solutions, please get in touch. Group sessions and Personal Training sessions compliment each other wonderfully!
